International Association of Chemical Thermodynamics

International Association of Chemical Thermodynamics (IACT) have established five awards for the young scientists on best poster session of the XVII International Conference on Chemical Thermodynamics in Russia (RCCT 2009) about 100-pound (sterling) each.

The only requirement: applicants must be under 30 years of age on June 29, 2009. Each award winner will receive a cheque for the mentioned sum plus a certificate.

Applications for the awards (in English) must be sent by ordinary mail to the Organizing Committee by April 1, 2009. According to the IACT requirements, the applications must be supported by the following documents:

• Full name of the applicant
• Reccomendation letter from the research supervisors
• Curriculum vitae of the applicant
• List of publications
• Abstract of the paper

It is obligatory the participation of applicant in the conference in person.

For your and our convenience we kindly ask to resend your application by e-mail. If possible, please, support the recommendation letter (separate file) by a facsimile (scanned) signature of the supervisor. After the deadline, all the nominations and supporting papers will be sent to the members of the selection committee, made up of IACT Board members. The IACT group will select award recipients from applicants. The final selection will be made during RCCT 2009 after poster session.
